Press release (3-7-03): Terry Don West of Henryetta, Okla., won the Houston Xtreme Bulls stop, the second of 10 such events that feature 30 of the world’s best bull riders, with an aggregate score of 183 points for successful rides on two bulls. Earning a total of $26,320, West, 37, was the only bull rider of the 30 contestants to successfully ride two bulls: 92 points on Sammy Andrews’ Helter Skelter in the semifinals; and 91 points on Salt River’s T-Bird.

Bio: I started riding professionally in 1984 with the IPRA.

Additional awards and some of my favorite wins are:

Riding in Brazil for Team America and going to Australia to compete.  It is great to see how popular Rodeo and especially Bull Riding is outside of the United States.
